jealousy
it is unbelieveable what jealousy can do to a person.
in one minute, i am a normal, responsible young woman. i'm teaching students, fixing supper, and relaxing on the couch. then, with just one phone call, i transform into this irrational being. consumed with just one thought, i drown in the abyss of insanity. the room shifts. every sound is exaggerated. suddenly the television is blaring and the cat bathing himself is an annoyance. and everyone, everywhere, is vulnerable to my wrath.
all because my boyfriend went to dinner with a girl.
