night time noises

jesse is back in danville tonight and it makes the noises in my house magnified....

moe is on the foot of the bed "bathing." however, he has some crazy allergy that causes him to pull his own hair out with his teeth. it results in constant licking. and this has to be the most annoying sound you will ever hear. but i can hear it and i try to take it until i usually end up either covering my ears with a pillow or kicking him off the bed (which doesn't help because he just sits on the carpet and continues licking).

my bed is squeaking. and don't take that the wrong way. see, i have a bed that i bought with my own money at the age of 22 when i got my own apartment. i was broke. it's cheap. not only that, but it was put together by some very generous cousins of mine who, although they have great intentions, are not exactly bed-building professionals. as a result, part of my bed constantly creaks like something is lightly knocking up against it. i'm just waiting for the day that my bed collapes beneath me in the middle of the night.

channel 8 news is on. when i'm home alone, my television is constantly on. i don't usually watch it though. i just like the noise. otherwise, i have to hear the noises of a house settling in for the night. and those noises are kinda creepy.
