not quite a quitter
rarely is there ever an admirable reason to quit one's job. nasty boss, terrible hours, low pay... these are things we are taught to deal with, especially when we're starting at the bottom. however, recently, someone very close to me had to quit his job for a reason that, not only is understandable, but admirable. he did it for his beliefs. his ethics.
and it wasn't an easy decision. as a matter of fact, it was probably the hardest decision he's ever had to face and will have to face for some time. but he handled it with grace, self-confidence, and drive. and i am so proud of him for that.

on behalf of the friend you speak of, i'll say thank you.
the friend needs to hear things like that to feel validated in his decision.
so, from the friend, thank you very much.
hear hear...
