on a more positive note...
we are at the beginning of thanksgiving holiday - the best holiday of the year! good food, friends & family - and no stress of presents. not to mention, all the dressing and mashed potatoes you can eat! yum!! i'm ready to gain my 5 lbs (a day)!
in celebration of the holiday, my students had to put a piece of paper on their backs that said, "I'm thankful for you because...". then, each person in the class had to write down one reason he/she was thankful for that person. it's so fun to watch them walk around, complimenting each other and getting complimented in return. in that spirit - to the people I know read this blog, based on my comments:
jesse...for your sincere heart, your witty humor, and your unwavering love
michael...for the way only you can make me laugh and your kind heart
emily...for your willingness to constantly drive to ky and for your mad dance skillz
stacey...for always having an open ear and open mind
marian... for your complete devotion and sincerity towards your friends
dad...for the way you look at me with so much pride and love in your eyes
carol...for the times you never fail to be there, to share celebrity gossip or to help me through tough times
mikki jo...for the way you are so proud to be my sister, and the ways you make me proud to be yours
