wait 20s! come back!

well, it's official. i'm 29 today. depressing, i know. for as long as i can remember, i've treated my birthday like a national holiday (it's paid off though - i've had numerous text msgs and voice mails today from people who say, for some reason, they always remember this day. heehee). i have to admit, though, the older i get, the less i feel like celebrating. when i feel that way, i always try to remember my grandmother's spirit. she was a birthday-fanatic too...however, she turned 36 at least 20 times, even after her children surpassed that age. maybe that's what i'll do. maybe i'll stay 29 for awhile. try it on for size. see how i like it before jumping into 30 like everyone else. why not...
